I enjoyed the process of making both the Technology and Media essay and the course design & development report. Moreover, it helped guide me in the development of my first online module, which I hope will become the basis of my final project at UF. I based all of the information in both of the essays on the book in our class, which I have really enjoyed going through as it has helped form my understanding of distance education and the difference between technology and media. The technology and media assignment also provided me with the opportunity to explore technology and media that I can later incorporate into my own course once it is fully developed. I think that incorporating multimedia into distance education is very important and also increases the cognitive accessibility of online courses.
