Animation Video

Unfortunately, I was unable to use Adobe Animate for this project as a free trial of that software is unavailable in Iceland. So, through this link, I found a free software called "KRITA" that I used to complete the assignment. After learning about the software, I made an educational video about inclusion and accessibility in hopes of highlighting the problems many people with disabilities face daily. After drawing up the animations and making a script, I recorded the audio. I used Veed to convert the audio file from a M4A to MP3, and then I uploaded the audio to Krita. After that, I used a screen recorder to record the video and then edited the length and audio in Microsoft Clipchamp in case there was an issue with accessing the link to my Krita animation project. Then, I uploaded the video to YouTube and plugged it into this website. A downside to Krita is that I was unable to record the audio directly in the application, which was quite inconvenient.
Using animation videos in educational settings is very valuable for delivering engaging content to students that helps them understand certain subject matters more easily. For example, telling students that access is important does not always result in students comprehending how important it is. However, providing them with an animation that helps them understand the impact of inaccessible venues for people with disabilities helps them truly understand how important inclusion and accessibility are.
Below is a screenshot of my project in Krita.
